In 2019, He was awarded a certificate to complete the “English for Modern Media Skills” program funded by the U.S. Department of State, designed and delivered by Arizona State University and Turkish-American Association.
In 2020, He nominated as one of The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) which is the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program. In this program, he made business visits to dozens of journalism organizations in the US and attended training, and participated in various workshops.
His working fields are information disorder, new media & journalism, and means of communication. He provides Digital Communication Consultancy.
He was an instructor of TGS Academy and Journalists’ Union of Turkey for new media and digital security training. He is a freelance journalist in Journo since 2016 which is owned by Journalists’ Union of Turkey‘s
He was the founder Common Knowledge and Communication Association (TBİD). He also was the chairman of the board of directors between 2017 to 2021 at that NGO. He was formerly one of the coordinators of Digital Security Project. He has been organizing activities and workshops within the scope of this project. Also, He provides training in security and safety to journalists. At the same time, He was part of another TBİD project name is NewsLabTurkey (a kind of digital journalism academy for journalists). In this project, He was a managing editor and instructor between 2018 to 2021. NewsLabTurkey is supported by The Guardian Foundation and The Consulate General of Sweden in İstanbul. He is still a member of International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).
